Every time a person gives up hope and turns cynical and bitter, it’s because he or she is fearful.

Fear fogs faith; fear is like the smoke that gets into your eyes obscuring you from the light of hope. It’s not hard to believe, but fear makes you think it is very hard to do so.

…So each time you are bitter or unhappy or you develop negative feelings towards something or someone, remember it’s the enemy infecting your heart with fear.

Adam hid because he was afraid…

The original sin resulted in the first fear. From then on fear became commonplace as the world fell from glory.

But, with redemption and through the blood of the lamb, Jesus. God has promise freedom from fear, and an impartation of power, love and a sound mind.

We fear to find a solution, sometimes we even fear losing the fear.

But the solution finds us and rescues us.

…Do not fear, He said – And one of his disciples found faith to ask for a chance walk on the water with him.

Facebook is a place of social adventure…

You read and watch lives evolve and transform before your eyes… And it sure struck a chord within me…

The colours of every photograph uploaded reveals a rich and exciting life, the ‘wall to wall’ posts shows to capacity to communicate and the the individual personality…

Looking through the photos of every friend makes you wish that you were there too and not stuck in an office doing pretty mundane stuff.

But then again… I’m more than blessed. It’s a truth not a fact. While emotions may rush in my head I’ll learn to practise what I said to a friend earlier on..

“Emotions are like fire, it can propel you or it could burn you. Learn to tame it and master it. There’s strength in the control of emotions, but there’s greater strength in mastery over emotions, not holding back tears, but knowing when to cry…”

Emotions are made by God aren’t they? So there’s no need to remove emotions rather let God use emotions to romanceus, to propel us, to bless us…

something positive//01.

Ok, i’ve decided to be more positive.

I for one think that I need to speak more positive stuff…

Maybe attend more church services? Listen to more inspiration speeches?

I don’t know. If I were to progress I can’t be negative and ‘hope-less’ can I?

So consider this a genesis of something creative and positive – it’s abit raw considering that I used MS Paint and some 5-10 mins to produce this.. but it’s good… the message is clear.

It only takes a spark to get the fire burning… So it’s time to head home and enjoy the Father’s presence… I think. Anything’s better than being around swine..

one liners.

it’s funny, it’s been a season of one liner’s on this blog…

and I haven’t been blogging much anyways.

Heaven on earth would be really useful right now… Because hell on earth seems like a pretty apt description (but then again it’s just me being a wet blanket, dampening hope when it’s just ‘right there’)

Technically I’m homeless, I need shelter, it’ll be really nice if the Housing Board makes flats a lil cheaper for my family’s sake.

Can’t wait to embark on my degree final year. Can’t wait to enjoy projects and exams. Can’t wait to graduate.

I’d love to study fulltime and make some friends with my classmates.

It’ll be nice.

On a side note.

It’ll be nice to visit Disneyland soon one day.

The happiest place in the world, it’ll be nice to work there… Disneyland is almost the answer to a ‘real’ Narnia to children – I remember my stay there, it was… magical.

I wonder how it’ll feel this time…

It’ll be nice if someone recreates the world of Narnia… I’ll love to visit.

in everything do it for God. even in the failure or the messes. (:

letting go of grudges makes you more awake. Wow.

worship//hands lifted high.

maybe the reason why many people are hurting today is because no one knows how to lift up their hands to worship.

no one remembers the liberty of open hands.

maybe, just maybe if we would lift up our hands to worship, to pour out our hearts in hymns and songs, we might find rest and relief.

maybe if we would just lift even one finger, would the spirit of God rush to embrace us.

But.

He has already did, even before our hands were made. He embraced us when we’re born and will continue embracing us till we see him face to face.

today lets worship Him, even in the storm. perhaps we might see the storms still and the son of God in full glory.

today I say.

God, I don’t know why You want me to carry this load. I can see no good in it and it’s awfully heavy.
But, if You want me to carry it, I will.
