making things sweet.
This is time where I decide not to be bitter and move on.
I’ve learnt that the past may try to catch up with you, all the time. Our past mistakes, failures and disappointments may attempt to haunt us.
But who is bigger, Christ or the ghosts of time’s past.
Today I open my eyes to a new day. The past stays behind as the Lord holds my hand leading me not to the future, but through this beautiful ‘today’ – the present.
The penalty of sins past have been forgiven, the blood of Jesus will never lose its power. But for today, forgive yourself because He has already forgiven.
“And the Lord showed him a tree, which when he had cast into the waters, the waters were made sweet.” – Exodus 15:25 – Spurgeon’s Sermon
