We all feel inadequate at some point or another.
The beauty of feeling that you don’t measure up is simply knowing that you aren’t always expected to measure up with straight ‘A’s in every aspect of life.
You are not called to play the guitar, fry the eggs, iron the clothes and jog–all at the same time!
But above all, the cure to low self-esteem is not giving the feeling of adequacy; rather to know that failure is not fatal, and that nothing you’ll ever do will ever change the good opinion Jesus has of you.
He loves you, treasures you and is so, just so proud of you.
Why? Because you were worth every drop of blood and iota of pain when He went to the cross for you.
Because He made, fashioned and crafted you from His image.
Because inside you, is His very breath.
